SEARCH FOR FOREIGNER:

SELECT PLAYER:

On bottom right you can see a breakdown of how many players you have at each position. It says I only have one right fielder so I'm going to search for a foreigner in that position.

Just scroll to the right fielder (highlighted in green) and click.

SELECT PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES:

- Throws: Right / Left
- Bats: Right / Left / Switch Hitter

After you click confirm nothing will happen, you must wait several games and eventually you'll get a report showing what player they found.

FOREIGNER SIGNED:

(Image from 2010 version): The team has found and signed a new foreigner after receiving my request. You will see this player in your minor league roster the next day and available for you to call up. After checking him out this players overall ratings weren't great but he has "A" rated power.

Most players who are found have glaring weaknesses but have some strengths as well. Remember, these are players who can't cut it in the MLB. Thus, overall they don't make a good package but if you're lucky they can be a good tool on the bench. For example one catcher I signed was poor but he had the "SIt & Throw" catcher only special skill so he could hold down a speedy team. Also, every once in awhile a really solid player will show up so there are some diamonds out there.
