STARTING A PENNANT (2013):

  • Load Mid-Game
  • Load Season
  • Begin New Season

 

Pick 'Pennant' from the main menu then press Circle to scroll through a bunch of text then pick your team.

- The next choice will be a simple Yes or No question: do you want the season to reflect the awaken players you have purchased in the VP Shop?

- Next screen is edit roster. I recommend just leaving it on default and just hit confirm.

- The next screen is choosing a Digest Season (Shown above). The options are:

  • Play only important games (left option / picture of camera man)
  • Play Full Season (right option / picture of flag).

 

Say you picked Full Season. The next screen is User Settings, Match Settings, Pennant Settings, and Report Settings.

Match Setting is same as the 2012 version, except now, the Commentator option is gone because it will always be the new 3 man team. Please see the settings page if you want to adjust these. Report settings are shown below.

 

NEW PENNANT SETTINGS IN 2013:

1. Season Injuries: On/off (This is different from the in-game injuries in Match Settings. If you choose Off here, even if your guy gets injured during the game, he will automatically be ok after the game).
2. Fatigue: On/off
3. Growth and Decline: On/off
4. Trades: On/off/CPU teams won't trade with each other
5. New Foreigners: On/off/CPU teams won't get new foreigners
6. Draft: On/off/CPU teams won't draft new players
7. Created Players Entering Draft: On/off/CPU won't draft created players
8. Free agents negotiation: On/off/CPU won't pursue free agents
9. Amount of Free Agents: Normal/Many
10. Rainouts: On/off
11. Call games because of rain: on/off

 

REPORT SETTINGS (2103):

1. Reports leading up to milestone: on/off
2. Pre-game presentation: on/off
3. Post-game results: on/off
4. Milestone presentation: on/off
5. Growth report: on/off
6. Headlines: on/off
7. See rotation after each game: on/off
8. Show trades during season sim: Stop sim to show trades/Don't stop
9. Alert when CPU teams get new player: On/off
10. Injuries Report: on/off
11. Coach report: on/off
